I was born and raised in the Flathead Valley. My mother, Jan Musgrove, loved massage. As a toddler, in the 70’s, she would encourage me to remember how her massage felt, so I would grow up and know how to massage her. In our family, massage was a cure for sore feet, achy shoulders, a bad back, for a hard day, or even a sinus infection. I’m grateful to have been raised giving and receiving massages. Massage is Good Medicine.
In my 20s, I attended Good Medicine Massage School in Whitefish. I moved to Hawaii and Thailand before completing the program. In 2017, I opened Good Medicine Massage in Minnesota. In 2025, I graduated from the Massage Training Institute and started Good Medicine Massage LMT in a chiropractic and wellness center located in Somers, MT.
I’m trained in Swedish Massage and specialize in Neuro-muscular Therapy (NMT). My deep tissue work targets trigger points and muscle attachments, following the path your body’s tissue leads me in.
Working with me, you can expect a lot of communication. You know your body better than I do. I need your input to make our work productive. I love assisted stretching. I’m learning about the Neural Reset Technique (NRT), and cupping to help relieve your muscle tension, improve your mobility, and support your body’s health.
Every session is mindfully crafted to meet your body’s needs, grounded in anatomy, and focused on results you can feel.
Thank you for choosing me,
Kari Vasend
